Medium: Adobe After Effects + Blender
About: This video continues with the same concept as Sakura Swirl, but I started over from scratch. I remade all the leaves and the tree. I wanted to incorporate all seasons, but due to workload during finals season, I decided to stick with fall and winter, two of my favorite seasons. This also allowed me to create smoother transitions to create another loop. I’m glad I chose to improve the project idea because the final outcome of this was rather satisfying to watch and turned out much better than I had imagined. Disclaimer, I found that flying owl model online and was assisted with getting the big snowflakes to be animated like that. I illustrated the two detailed snowflakes and then used Blender to animate them.
